Description:
Ago Art Talk is a program that consists of a guided tour of the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) and a hands-on art-making program inspired by the explored artwork. This program is designed for people living with dementia and their caregivers. The tour and art-making program are facilitated by an experienced AGO docent and assisted by volunteers from the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.
The volunteers will support this program by assisting the Program Facilitator in welcoming clients, tracking attendance, engaging clients in the tour, participating in the art-making program, and assisting clients, as well as engaging in conversations to enhance the experience.

Screening: All applicants will be required to submit a volunteer application, attend an interview and provide two references to be contacted by the Volunteer Department. Applicants must also agree to a background check. Supervision: This role will be supervised by the staff supervisor and the Active Living Programs Coordinator. Benefits:
